My Favorite Song of the Trip: "Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road" by Jimmy Newman

On May 9, 2009, My best friend and I ventured across the whole world (well, 250miles) to Nashville, TN to see the Grand Ole Opry. It was our first time there, or anywhere near there. It was an adventure (to say the least.) But this is my gallery, not my blog, so let's talk about the pictures.

I was really excited to get a change of venue for taking pictures. (I have been falling out of photography as of late, but this renewed my passion again.) I was most excited about taking pictures at the concert. That was uncharted territory for me. I had never taken pictures at music events, let alone in the complete dark on a far balcony behind the freaking sound board.

I am pleased with how everything turned out, especially the concert pics. (I was using a freaking slow shutter, open aperture, and freaking 12x zoom the whole time!) Well, here they are. Hopefully, y'all will share my opinion. (of peaches too)
